“The way you start your day is the way your whole day is going to be”

Tell me…

Are you a morning person?” The answer to my question is a full-mouthed NO in most cases. People tend to snooze their alarms twelve times, crawl out of bed like World War III just happened and feel all kinds of woozy, tired and grumpy.

They shuffle to the bathroom and look in the mirror yawning, and do all their morning things like a sloth is climbing their tree.

Like this they awaken slowly during the day, and when they’veĀ finally woken up…

It’s already too late ! The day has already passed completely.

What would you say if you could wake up energized and pumped for the day?

YES MAN!

I sometimes have my day off as I’m still a student (partying and having hangovers, lack of sleep…)

But when I do my morning ritual(s) I notice a big big difference: more energy, more motivation and clarity to start the day with.

If you make it a good habit that you follow through with, you can take a lot out of it.

My morning ritual (in ‘best-case scenario’)

My morning ritual consists of:

  • Waking up and getting a cup of hot lime water
  • Stretch and breathe
  • Some meditation or breathing techniques
  • Reading a few pages in a book
  • Write in my morning journal
  • Excercise
  • Eggs and bacon (real man’s breakfast)

If I start my day like this, I’m good to go and in a whole other mindset than a normal “I’m not a morning person” – day.

So do it for yourself: write down what you want to do every morning to become a better person. Try to do them EVERY SINGLE DAY, as this is a habit as well.

You’ll be amazed at how much more productive and easy your day will be!

Cheeeeeersss

Chris
